⁣At New York Comic-Con 2022, Warner Bros. offered audiences an exciting new teaser for Season 4 of Doom Patrol and finally dropped its premiere date.
The much-anticipated fourth season of the bizarre superhero drama is set to release on Dec. 8. Expected to return to the series are Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, April Bowlby as Rita Farr/Elasti-Woman, Matt Bomer and Matthew Zuk as Larry Trainor/Negative Man, Joivan Wade as Vic Stone/Cyborg, Brendan Fraser and Riley Shanahan as Cliff Steele/Robotman and Michelle Gomez as Laura DeMille/Madame Rouge.
⁣Joining the cast in a recurring capacity will be Madeline Zima as Casey Brinke, an ordinary EMT who gets swept up in the Patrol's adventures and discovers her own bizarre origin story. Showrunner Jeremy Carver said of the character's arrival, "Casey is so beloved both by our writers on staff and by fans of Doom Patrol in general. We finally found a way to bring her into the story in a way that feels wholly organic to us, even though to someone who's never seen Doom Patrol, it might seem a little bats--- insane. To us, it fits perfectly! And it's not just a cameo." Casey's co-creator, artist Nick Darrington, praised Zima's look as the unlikely heroine and its faithfulness to the source material.

⁣Details about the new season's storyline are largely unknown at this time. According to an official synopsis, Season 4 will see the World's Weirdest Heroes unexpectedly travel to the future "to find an unwelcome surprise" and they will be forced to "decide once and for all which is more important: their happiness or the fate of the world?" In addition, episode titles for the season seem to tease a trip to the imaginary world Orqwith, the arrival of classic Doom Patrol villain General Immortus and the return of Darren Jones, a government agent who was transformed into a butt monster.

⁣The BBC has revealed when the final episode of Doctor Who for Jodie Whittaker will be airing on the broadcaster, and there's not long to wait.
Whittaker has played the thirteenth incarnation of the Time Lord since 2017, and will be passing on the reigns to Ncuti Gatwa following her final episode.
Showrunner Chris Chibnall is also set to leave the programme to be replaced by Russell T Davies, who was behind the 2005 revival of the show.

The upcoming episode will bring more clarity to the fate of the elves and their tree of life. Mithril is proven to be the key to curing the tree, but will Prince Durin and Disa be successful in turning over the current Dwarf King’s command?
Celebrimbor’s fate as the forger of the rings of power has not been explored, and we hope the finale will at least set the base of that storyline in the finale.
Will the trio of the magic wielders use Nori to bring The Stranger out of hiding? Will Elrond be able to change the fate of the Elves? What fate awaits Galadriel and Halbrand? Episode 8 will hopefully answer all of these questions and more.

⁣His Dark Materials season 3 is the third and final series in the BBC and HBO adaptation of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials(opens in new tab) trilogy.

⁣HBO’s highly anticipated “The Last of Us” TV series has released its first official trailer on Monday, giving fans their first look at the adaptation of the popular, post-apocalyptic video game. The show premieres in 2023.
Just like the PlayStation video game, “The Last of Us” series follows a hardened survivor named Joel, played by “The Mandalorian” star Pedro Pascal, as he journeys across a United States decimated by a deadly disease called the cordyceps fungus. Along the way, he travels with a young girl named Ellie, played by “Game of Thrones” alum Bella Ramsey, who plays a crucial part is finding a cure for the zombie-like plague that has destroyed society.

The trailer reveal came on Sept. 26, which is nicknamed Outbreak Day in “The Last of Us” community. In the original video game, the cordyceps fungus first began spreading around the U.S. on Sept. 26. In the trailer, set to Hank Williams’ “Alone and Forsaken,” fans will recognize key moments from “The Last of Us” video game, such as Joel and Ellie escaping a quarantine zone, two collapsing skyscrapers they must traverse, Ellie riding a merry-go-round with her childhood friend Riley and Joel running with his daughter Sarah at the onset of the pandemic.
